i was using my DM7020 HD v2 for IPTV and it was better than Nvidia Sheild and Xiaomi Box S ofcourse i'm talking abouth thr picture quality, buffering not the speed

If you use for the moment OHDF ,buy a dm920 it have every thing for it ,then use atv when they repere Everything!!

Your effords should go to Dream Seven. The newer chipset has more future than every other. The Broadcom chip is not produced any longer.
So none of the both devices you mentioned will be in support as long as the new Dream.
Just my thoughts.

waiting for Seven, it's a good idea but i don't think i will have fun and enjoy like when i'm using the 920 or Due 4k. Tthere is no OpenAtv or any other developers,
there is no skins or plugins.

Really the choice not easy.

maybe its the time to change our minds and look to the future.
and we throw the fun behind us and then wait for the developers to support the new generation.

You talk about Future and the choice between DMM 920 and VU+. maybe you will have the new DM7...change your Mind, look to the Future? Than you should do this:

If you mainly want to use IPTV, you should get an Androidbox and not an expensive DM 920, DM7 or VU + 4K.

Then you can play with it and if you don't like it, you can always buy an E2 box.

The picture quality is better in enigma2 devices speciayl with sd channels.

I already have the nvidia shield, but the iptv players not that good in android. the picture also better in Enigma2
