No, the driver developer from D-Cube should not programming drivers for E2BMC for other boxes. But the developers of E2BMC could patch the drivers of other boxes for E2BMC, if they will this do. But E2BMC is not an open source project, they will not do this and this says all. I can patch the drivers of the Geant 88HD for E2BMC and I have it done. Also I have partial function of E2BMC with the Golden Media Hypercube, if I use the API wrapper. But this only for my own experimental use and not for public use, because I have not the time to support a not open source project as E2BMC.

I wish the E2BMC team every success with their E2BMC project on a few receiver models. Thus, for any case no support from others.

When will you release drivers for hypercube and geant hd88 which work with genuine enigma2?

Golden Media deliver the Hypercube with Enigma2 and the Geant 88HD is completely unknown in Germany (I have my Geant 88HD from Algeria). Why should I publish what I unfinished there, which is of little interest and could not be supported of me (I have not the time for that and I get not support of the manufacturer) ??? It is only my own interest, to see whether and how to halfway gets up and running E2BMC on other boxes. This all without any support of the E2BMC team, because they don't publish the complete source code and the build system of E2BMC..

I wish the E2BMC team every success with their E2BMC project on the two receiver models.

Strange, you can make own drivers for geant and hypercube? Who given you the sources and why do you need support when you got all sources ??
Hypercube and Geant need firstly opengl support and of course add the basics like linux api.
I would say try to run GENUINE enigma2 and XBMC and when both work we can check if we get E2BMC working.

Please don't say you have no time. Make time for it, as what I read it's for you an easy job.
I will wait for your support and test drivers. There is much more interest as you think and you will make many happy!!!

Nothing is easy when it comes to drivers, and certainly not openGL drivers for the PNX84xx chips. The only thing I have is the full Trident-SDK for these chips, the source code for the Hypercube published rudimentary by Golden Media, times what one finds in E2BMC source code to the D-Cube R2 and of course the source code for the Marusy Prismcube Ruby.

I have a full time job and my family, and only after that comes the hobby.

Have a nice day, week and month.
