Thema: Update Apploader to fix Green Button

Thanks, there is a few things that need to be updated now that we can officially say it's running pritty well...

Did the charger load the last time for 12 minutes?

@Captain Why is the update so difficult (i.e. requires RS232)? Couldn't we just replace the apploader.bin in the dualboot U5PVR firmware and flash as usual from USB stick? And will this fix ever become part of a firmware release?

The reason why I did not succeed in the green button is: while updt with the usb behind the slot, there must be an SD card inserted (empty), ready for recording!: Mmm_80_anim_gif:

So, if the SD card is not empty it will not work? Shouldn't it be called "Install" instead of "Update" then? I would have expected that I can simply update to the latest version and that it overwrites the SD card. But it doesn't work for me. When I press the green button, the Display says "Updt" then after some seconds the box reboots but there's no update.

Can you help me. I have the latest Android firmware version, to flash with green button, i can following this guide or the fix are included with the latest firmware?
To flash, how i can do it?

1- Format usb stick Fat32
2- Unzip latest e2 image, folder dinobot and copy into Usb Stick.
3- Insert a empty microsd formatted Fat32.
4- Turn on the box, when show Menu, press green button.
Are right?

Yes, this worked for me. But the card doesn't have to be empty. And make sure that you copy not only the content of the dinobot dir but also the dir itself. In other words: when you check the stick, you must see a dinobot directory there.
