- try with static IP network cable directly from my box to the PC --- No good
- serial cable only --- no good
- network cable + router + PC no good

Well my understanding of this is that this enables the box to be capable of updating E2 directly from one USB FAT32 when the box is booting up which makes it easier in case you don’t have a PC with the SDCARD adapter.
