Installing ATV
I have downloaded the latest recovery image and used it on my Beyonwiz V2. It loaded and recovered, but it will not boot and I am not sure where to go next. It just shows "boot" on the display and the TV just shows a large OPEN ATV graphic screen. If I try to go into the bootloader by turning on the device with the standby button pressed and I choose Multiboot selector it says "no images founded". I have repeated the procedure three times with same result.

ThemenstarterI have since learned from the Beyonwiz forum that the latest ATV builds do not work with V2 hardware.
Hopefully this will change soon and I will try again.

ThemenstarterThank you. Yes the instructions are good and Google translate works well.
I followed this guide last night. The only difference is on my box, I must hold the standby button when I power on the unit. The display shows update and the tv shows a boot menu. I choose recovery and the update.bin downloads and then recovers. When the unit reboots, it is stuck on boot. The TV now shows the new OpenATV boot screen. If I go into the boot menu again and choose the multiboot menu, it says there are no images available. I can then choose the recovery on the new boot loader, which again seems to be successful, but it still does not occupy a slot and won't boot. I think the firmware is going to flash, but it is not writing the boot loader.
If I then use my Beyonwiz recovery image, it does the same thing. It loads and recovers the update.bin image. Now the bootloader is the original Beyonwiz and it boots fine.

ThemenstarterNo unfortunately I have to use the factory Beyonwiz image. The OpenATV image does not boot.
I will add. I don't think the problem is that the OpenATV image does not work on Beyonwiz V2. I think the problem is that the recovery does not correctly install the OpenATV into slot1Geändert von chopsywa (27.05.2020 um 12:31 Uhr)

ThemenstarterHave it working now. Internal flash won't work, but it loaded fine when I installed a microSD card.
