the log just stops after a key press. No error nothing.
When this happens, can you still use the Web-interface to operate the box, by using the remote in the browser?
I'm not sure whether the box is freezing or just not responding to the Remote control. (or the remote control itself is faulty)

Have you tried removing and reinserting the batteries when the box is not responding?
Batteries in the remote control are ok?
