Have you test your Box on an other TV ?
Which manufacturer + Typ is your TV ?
Have you change the HDMI-Cable for testing ?
    And so on.....

It's probably because you have one or two features set to “on" on your TV the main culprits are “dynamic contrast” which may darken the backlight in dark scenes e.g a night time scene in a movie.
To make the blacks deeper (as LCD/LED TV are rubbish at blacks) or brighten it on bright scenes to make the whites whiter and once again to make the blacks deeper
so the image pops out. Also “eco lighting” this will dim or brighten the image based on the amount of light in your room to save energy. Ether way the easy fix is to turn
both these features off. You will get rid of your problem and enjoy more subtler shades of colour that would otherwise be bleached (brightend) or crushed(darkend) out..

Why does my TV screen brighten and darken on its own, and how can it be fixed? - Quora

Deactivate "Auto contrast" or/and "Auto brightness". Eather in the box or TV you might have activated it.

hello everybody and thank you for your kind help
the problem is with the receiver and not with the tv or the hdmi cable, because I've tried both receiver connected to tv and connected to a hdmi modulator that send satellite receiver signal to every tv of my house, via dvb-t: I've the same problem.
I've tried to change in receiver video setting 2 option that was setting to auto (something about colour and another about hlg) but nothing has changed...

any guess? I've tried to find "auto contrast" or "auto brightness" but I don't know where to find it.
    I've openatv 6.3

by the way I've deactivated every "auto" setting on my tv too

    thank you everybody
    best regards

You have set resolution of your box the output to 720P and not higher? Probably 1080 and 2160 your hdmi modulator will not support as it's hdmi 2.0 which has settings like HLG and other video contrasts.

hello wte and thank you for your help.

the problems persist both with the receiver connected to tv and the modulator.

I ve wrote about modulator just to confirm it doesn't depend on tv
