Box 1:Zgemma H9 ComboBox 2:Zgemma H5.2S+Box 3:Atemio AM 5200 HDThe easiest way: instal the latest recovery (openATV Nightly Downloads) as described in the users manual (on page 14 in german or page 28 in italian), after that install the image that you want from the recovery/bootmenu.

How to USB flash recovery multiboot menu on Zgemma H9 Combo
Diese Anleitung hat mir geholfen, Multiboot und Openatv neu zu installieren.

Box 1:Zgemma H9 ComboBox 2:Zgemma H5.2S+Box 3:Atemio AM 5200 HDif you can enter the recovery menu then you don't have to (menu -> standby/restart -> recovery mode or by press and hold down the OK button right after you power on your box until you see rCUY on frontpanel), but otherwise yes (or if you have an old version of bootmenu, current is r245). You don't have to erase the current image 'cause you can install 4 images, I currently have atv, pli, vix and pure2 on my H9 Combo.

The recovery menu is a separate tool and not direct related with Enigma2. It's actually a small OSD menu where you can manage the installation from the images.
You can enter it by press and hold a remote controller button like the OK just after you restart your box from Enigma2 or you need to press and hold down OK button before already you power up the box.
When no recovery image is yet installed you need to download it ad unzip it on an USB stick.
Place the stick in the box find on backpanel the reset button. Press and hold it, powerup the box and release reset button. It will now install the recovery and it will one time start direct to the recovery.
In the recovery when you have the ethernet connect with static cable you can easily install an image. When the box is not connect you need to manual choose the image which you need to download and place it on the stick. (only the zip file is enough. Don't unzip it.)!Deutsch ist nicht meine mutter sprache, so sprachfehler kann auftreten!

Sorry, but I don't understand your problem. Perhaps you don't need to erase your currently installed image.
First: Try to backup your currently installed image to an external storage.
Second check whether your system suppports Multiboot.
Multiboot is something like a boot manager, it allows you to choose from 4 different images. Every image is installed in a different slot
(something like a partition).
There are different ways to check for multiboot, one possibility is:
Long press the power button on your remote. When the menu appears, one menu entry is "multiboot".
You will see a list of the installed images and you can choose one (out of four) you want to boot.
If you only see one image, then you have 3 free slots.
Press exit, if you don't want to boot into one of the images.
If you have free slots you can install other images into one of the free slots (or you can overwrite one existing image).
Menu -> Settings -> Software -> Flash online/local
You will see a list of Online Images (openatv) and perhaps some local saved images on your hdd/usb storage.
Choos one image and install it into one of the slots. If you have free slots choose one of the free slots to keep your current image.
