Clock on front display panel Zgemma H2H oATV6.1
Hi im using OpenATV 6.1 download 18/11/2017 on my Zgemma H2H I have noticed clock doesn't display on front panel on most skins including default skin, but does on certain skins.
Current work around is to use permanent clock vfd or download vfd control from system plugins is there a reason for vfd control missing or LED display menu,s missing?

Box 1:Vu+ Zero 4KBox 2:Vu+ Solo SE V2Box 3:Formuer F4-TURBOWhat about the OpenATV MENU - in the front LED pannel settings ? There is something wrong maybe. Check the configuration. For example, you can configure in the MENU, how or what will displayed on the front LED panel. The clock may be visible permanently or in Standby mode only, etc. .

Box 1:Vu+ Zero 4KBox 2:Vu+ Solo SE V2Box 3:Formuer F4-TURBOSorry, I don't understand.
Why do you need the VFD CONTROL plugin to set the front LED panel when the Zgemma H.2H device has a numeric/character display instead of a graphical display ?
I still do not understand exactly where the problem is :-/.
In the basic MENU in OpenATV, it finds the configuration of the LED display even without using the VFD CONTROL plugin.
You can find there a basic settings such as: brightness level change, standby or active display Off/On, power LED or recording LED light behavior, etc. .

ThemenstarterBut I can't set time or channel number on display. It just shows 00:00 on most skins some work fine. Also what if someone wants channel number on display instead of time?

Box 1:Vu+ Zero 4KBox 2:Vu+ Solo SE V2Box 3:Formuer F4-TURBOHello.
I personally unfortunately can not help you with this problem. I do not use the alphanumeric LED display on my Formuler F3 - I have it completely off (in standby + active mode).
I think OpenATV is in a reverse style than what you describe. So while watching the satellite channels, you can always see the number of the current channel on the front panel. In case you do not want it, there should be the possibility to switch to always visible "real time clock". OpenATV is now "branded", so for a particular device, a few plugins (source codes) are branded by device type. You have to wait for someone to fix something for your device.
You can try other plugins besides VFD Control that are not on the OpenATV feed-servers. They must of course be designed for Enigma2 and the processor type in your device (mipsel, arm, sh, ...).
You can customize the display function yourself in an XML file (it requires some IT knowledge):
/usr/share/enigma2/display/skin_display.xml
This file should contain everything you need to configure the appearance of the front display of your device. Even if you do not use a graphical LED display, but just an ordinary alphanumeric LED display.Geändert von s3n0 (22.11.2017 um 20:20 Uhr)
