Request for OpenATV and Vu+ Duo² to add multiple sat scanning with GUI

Firstly, my apologies for not posting in German, but using Google translate would do it an injustice. Thank you for allowing me to join a very informative and useful forum.

For owners of the Vu+ Duo² with dual 2x S2 tuners, this request would be a very beneficial addition. Example, if one is currently using.....

Tuner A = motorized Ku band dish - sg2100 motor or similar
Tuner B = multiple stationary Ku band dishes controlled with cascaded switches
Tuner C = motorized C band dish - actuator externally powered
Tuner D = multiple stationary C band dishes controlled with cascaded switches

Using a GUI similar to the attached picture, it would be used to select the tuner(s) and input parameters for scanning or to view actual tuner(s) scans in progress. A typical use with this setup would be to blind scan on tuners A and C while auto scanning on tuners B and D. This would be a major multi-tasking time saver and increase in receiver productivity!

World wide there are many, many sat viewers that must utilize multiple receivers on a daily basis to accomplish this task. I am one of these users and I can tell you it is very, very time consuming. Incorporating multi scanning to the Vu+ Duo² would solve the problem of setup, using and maintaining multiple receivers. It would also solve shelf space problems and keep the wife happy. It would definitely categorize this as a Green receiver.

I always use the most current stable build of OpenATV on my Duo² for its simplicity, convenience and less bugs and gremlins.

Mods if this is posted incorrectly, please move to appropriate forum, thanks.
