    MetrixHD vs MyMetrixHD

    Sorry, i'm newbie with MetrixHD.
I don't undersrtand good... but MetrixHD and MyMterixHD are two different skins or they are the same skin?
I tried to install the ipk from open-store.net, and the skin looks different, there is some customization that looks better than default for me. And it seems to work ok.

I made correctly installing OpenStore-MyMetrix_2.0.14-full.ipk or not?

    Maybe i didn't understand nothing...

    Thanks for any help

Both skin's use the same skinfolder - but
    * MetrixHD from "old" openstore is right now the "old" MetrixHD.
    * MetrixHD from openATV is the new MetrixHD, using 2-layerstyle, different coloroptions and so on.
    * "old" openstore is not compatible with MetrixHD from openATV - on a skinupdate from openATV this will probably brick your installation.
    * There will be a new openstore any time in the future which will be usable for MetrixHD of openATV on boxes having more then 128MB Flashmemory available.
    * MyMetrixHD is not a skin - MyMetrixHD is "just" a small plugin to configure new MetrixHD without new openstore on boxes with less then 128MB Flashmemory (and right now on all boxes because there is no new openstore available yet).

Hi arn354, thanks for your answer!
But i'm even more confused now

In the git repository i can read that MetrixHD is default skin for openATV 4.0 create by open-store.net.
So, MetrixHD is made by open-store.net, by imaxxx or by openATV? Which is the proprietary and which coder are working on it?
As i said, i tried to install ipk from open-store.net, and it works, but not all is working, e.g. some changes haven't any effect on gui.
I also read that openvix should support correctly Metrix from openstore, but i would not change atv image, it is the best imho!

Anyway, i can leave with standard MetrixHD of openATV, i only would 3 changes:

    1. In infobar, the "next event" haven't start-end time at beginning, like open-store.net MetrixHD.
    2. the second infobar doesn't show current and next events info in one way, like open-store.net MetrixHD.
    3. I really would the possibility to show both (current and next) events info also in channel selection, in vertical way.

I think this will be available in future, but i can achieve this just now modifying some files?

    Hi there,

I made the same mistake, I installed the .ipk file from the OpenStore webpage, after that I had some confusing configuration problems, all changes that you make in the open store plugin (MetrixHD) you have to save them again in the MyMetrix Plugin, if don't do that your configuration dosen't take any effect, I also had a problem after Online Update the colors changed to default after every update, and the EPG Scroll Bar was in full color so that I can't read the content.

So what I did to solve this problem > Reflash the Box and did NOT install the openstore .ipk file. as arn354 told you the MyMetrixHD plugin and the current Open Store .ipk file doese not realy work fine together, so just wait until the guys have fininshed the new OpenStore and it will work. BY the WAY it's done when it's done so be patient

    Receiver I: OS Mio 4K +
    Receiver II:
    Ax Triplex

    Receiver III: VU+ Zero
    Receiver IV: MEGASAT Force 1+

Updated Baseskin comes from iMaxxx. All openATV modifications are from openATV. Just check the GIT commit history.
The "new" MetrixHD is not supported by old openStore in any image right now. Only the old version.

That should allready be possible? Have you checked the different options for Channelselection in Plugin MetrixHDlite?

I don't understand one thing. "new" MetrixHD will be a skin available for all oe-alliance based images or will be a (default) skin working only with openATV image?

Yes, but next event only show the title, i would see its details as current event.
Mine is a request, because also old Metrix hasn't this feature. I mean something like this:

    MetrixHD vs MyMetrixHD-0407120104390t6warsbus4wsh2e4k9a7ksm.jpg

Can i give these ideas for development?
