Image 6.0 für ET 10000
Hallo,
Via Menu -> Standby/Restart-> Restart funzt leider auch nicht : " Your Xtrend ET10000 is rebooting "

Themenstarterfor some reason my reply did not come thru - so will summarise -
Once mounts in " /etc/fstab " will be excluded things do restart properly.
Therefore my best guess is it seems there is a time-out ( 5 minutes default ? ) before the box restarts as the mounts most likely cannot be unmounted quickly
The USB stick gets detected as " /media/hdd " instead of " /media/usb " as said maybe that is a config setting in oATV and that can be easily modified but I just dont know where
Would be great to get rid of the " /media/hdd " as my ET10000 is diskless ( just usb stick for backup purposes and certainly not for timeshifting )
workaround there seems to be
root@et10000:/tmp# blkid
/dev/sda1: UUID="2baaa738-8abe-44da-8d63-20331823509d" TYPE="ext4" PARTUUID="0005f7fa-01"
root@et10000:/tmp# vi /etc/fstab - adding:
UUID=2baaa738-8abe-44da-8d63-20331823509d /media/usb auto defaults 0 0
not sure if that is the way to go or I created a workaround, it should be detected out of the box OK imho?
thanks for your efforts done in oATV6.0Geändert von dolphs (19.01.2017 um 17:22 Uhr)

Themenstarterhi - have been testing now for some weeks and it came to my attention if the box goes to standby for some time it does not switch on ( in left corner just a circle twiddling ).
would be great that can be fixed and I believe more users have been reporting this ( but not sure specifically ET10000 )
Also I read " The ET8k & 10k drivers that have been build against kernel 4.8.3 and are being used in several images are not good. They are old drivers, rebuild and have some serious issues. So don't be jealous on images that use those The drivers have been offered as experimental drivers by Xtrend just before they were taken over by another company and left the (W-European) market. Just be happy with the box as it is (and as you apparently are). "
Indeed oATV6.0 uses these kernel drivers and I noticed few days back there was an update on this.
What is current status please, still NOK and should I revert to 4.0.1? Thanks!
