    8 Gb USB Stick Partitionieren.

    Hallo,


    Ich stehe vor folgendem Problem:


    Ich möchte mit dem Flashexpander den Flashspeicher meiner Ixus One vergrößern.


    Habe einen 8 GB USB-Stick.
    Den würde ich gern partitionieren und zwar so, daß 2 GB für den Flash zur Verfügung stehen und der Rest als media/usb gemounted wird.


    Auf der Box finde ich eine solche Funktion leider nicht.
    Der Stick wird nur als ganzes initialisiert bzw. gemounted.


    Gibt es hier eine andere Löschung

    habe das gerade mal auf der Giga probiert.
    So wie es aussieht, gibt es den Befehl hier nicht.

    such mal nach dem tool createmini. Stick in einen Windows-PC. Dann mit dem Tool die Partitionen anlegen und gut. Die erste bleibt fat, die nächsten sind dann ext2 oder halt fat (kannste einstellen)

    Danke für die vielen Infos.
    Ich komme aber nicht recht weiter.
    Die Befehle "fdisk und cfdisk" findet er nicht.

    Wenn mit sfdisk auf meinen gemounteten USB Stick ugreifen will
    bekomme ich (siehe unten) die Fehlermeldung.

    Hi Bug1303,

    Also erstmal solltest du den Stick umounten
    und dann nicht den Mountpount also /media/hdd sondern das device angeben also z.b: sfdisk /dev/sda
    Welches device dein Stick ist solltest ja mit mount rausbekommen.
