    Number marker

    I'm trying to create a bouquet that jumps channel numbering for matching official (operator).
    Using openPLi, in MENU -> SETUP -> SYSTEM -> USER INTERFACE, if HIDE NUMBER MARKERS is TRUE this will function perfectively:

    In openATV, bouquet looks like:

    In openPLi is:

    Can you implement this feature in openATV?
    Thank you very much!

    Channellist->menue->settings

    Show channel number in channel Selection -> yes (but this is default)

    Thank you for your reply, but my question is not about showing channel number in bouquets, but hiding numbered markers in bouquets.
    The numbered maker in bouquet, look like:
    Code:
    #SERVICE 1:320:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0::
    But I just read this post in the openPLi forum: OE-Alliance AutoBouquetsMaker - Page 2 - [EN] The Lounge - Forums - Page 2
    And changing the marker to:
    Code:
    #SERVICE 1:832:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0::
    seems to work in openATV.

    Can you confirm this issue?

    Actually, it not an "regular" marker. It's a feature called Number Marker.
    Regular marker looks like this:
    Code:
    #SERVICE 1:64:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0::Description
    And numbered markers are:
    Code:
    #SERVICE 1:320:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0::
    It's a feature first introduced by the ViX team in openVIX and the applied to all openPLi based distributions
    But the stranger is that this old kind of numbered marker works fine in openATV:
    Code:
    #SERVICE 1:832:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0::

    I am also looking for this option, but I can not find it (also in the latest builds). Am I looking over it or is it not merged/ported yet?

    I really like this option..since it the empty spaces are pretty annoying if you want to keep the original channel numbering.

    Just a kick to this thread... ;-)

    I think the option still isn't merged/ported, since I can't find it in the menu even with the latest OpenATV.

    Does no one miss the option? It really cleans up the channel list if the original channel numbering has unassigned channel number between the used channels (as Nether has shown in the screenshots).

    I hate to kick this thread a third time, does really no-one miss this option? Or is the problem not fully understood?

    I guess if you use channel lists from the internet you don't really have this problem. But if you scan for channels yourself and want to keep original channel numbering, you get the empty spaces between the channels.

    In fact a lot of people are missing this option. It is extremely annoying to have empty number markers in the list.

    Exactly these empty number makers that cannot be hidden in OpenATV is one of the 'bugs' why OpenATV is not populair in countries like the Netherlands, where cable providers provide lists with empty number markers. In other images like OpenPLI this is a feature that has been implented years ago.
