Sat problem after last 10/27 update

    Hello,
i have a problem with my zgemma start H2.

In the last days i updated openatv to the last available version (5.1 - 27 october). After this update there is no way to make the DVB-S tuner working. The DVB-T works in the usual way but i'm not able to see the sat channels.

The snr is always 0%. I tried to configure the tuner A in both simple and advanced mode but without results.

    I Use isetting2 3.3.4 and cccam 2.3.0. I live in italy so i use hotbird 13E.

    Any suggestion?

    Thanks

    Bug that needs fixing..

I have the same problem in that the NEW Zgemma H.2H running latest (supplied with) ATV image (and some others) do not work on certain channels.
A scan finds the channels but when trying to view them they show as 0% SNR with no video or audio available..
a scan picks up 980 or so channels on 28.2e but only shows about half although all listed in favourite list.
Full SNR on some and 0SNR on others such as Sky News
Is it a case of DVBS2 working and DVBS ?
PERHAPS TUNERS ARE NOT FULLY SUPPORTED IN LATEST FIRMWARE

    BUG THAT NEEDS FIXING..

So i'm "happy" i'm not the only one to have this problem. I'm waiting for a fix because it's really unusable in this way. Hope it will be soon. )

I just use a simple lnb with 1 port only, no disecq. Really i'm not very expert, i hope these few infos can help.

on this test box I am using a fixed dish (no mount) pointing at 28.2

    Simple
    Single
    28.2E
    Send Diseqc = NO
with above settings I CAN NOT view sky news (or similar) 0%SNR

    HOWEVER-

although using a fixed dish with no motor-
If I set the Diseqc setting to -
    Send Diseqc = YES
Then the previously unavailable channel(s) become viewable with a 92%SNR

    Hope this helps,
    SatBoxER.

I am testing the new Zgemma H.2S, H.2H and H.S series at the moment for AirDigital and it has also been reported back to them and on my zgemma support forum.
However I recently came across the same fault in ATV software (as well as OpenPLi, OpenSPA, hdfreaks and Opendroid) on the older Zgemma H2H and S models, so the fault must be in the base software/drivers).

@Captain reports that the fault is also showing in the Mutant boxes also.

I have not had time to check all transponders but the ones that I have noticed it on are on a fixed dish, Universal LNB, 28.2East, SKY News 12207 V and Sky Home channel. Both FTA.
